by June 1, 2009.
· The festival runs Fall 2009 [Exact dates to be announced soon.].

REQUIREMENTS
& GUIDELINES FOR VISUAL ARTISTS
· The EstroGenius Festival is an annual celebration
of women’s art, poetry, theatre, dance and music so we are primarily seeking
works by female artists.
· The EstroGenius Visual Art Exhibit is a group
show.
· Submissions for the EstroGenius 2009 Art show
are accepted between January 1, 2009 and June1, 2009.
· Submissions MUST include (1) the submission
application and (2) a CD with photographs of your work. Please Label the
CD of images with your name.
· Submissions may be mailed to or dropped off
at manhattantheatresource
by June 1, 2009. Electronic
submissions are NOT accepted.
· Artwork selected for exhibition must be ready
to hang (for example: framed and wired) and accompanied by a clear, concise
price list.
· Please attach an artist’s statement (for
example but not limited to…why you do what you do, what inspires you, why you
find art important) that you would like to be on display along with your chosen
pieces. Word

Note: One image will be selected as the
postcard, program and book cover image that will be used throughout the
festival. In submitting, you give your permission for
your image to be used as such and for us to make minor changes to that image as
necessary to market the festival effectively and thoroughly.
. All exhibitions are free to the artist,
however, manhattantheatresource does take a 25% commission on all work sold.

and bring or send it in with your materials, a resume, printed price list, CD
and any other descriptive materials to:
